Primal Strike into Savagery vindicator is fairly good, might not do everything you want at endgame, but it's great for the campaign. Shieldbreaker overall is very good due to high regen, lots of defensive options and it also has the benefit of build variety (EoR, Aegis, mines/cocktails, can do DW but that's probably not a good starter, ranged). I've had no issues running a Cold or Pierce DW Blademaster starting fresh this patch.
